I set up a 180-liter aquarium. Lighting: four T5 39-watt bulbs. Pump, skimmer, internal filter with carbon, external filter with Purigen and anti-phosphate. I can't understand what this smelly film on the rocks and substrate is. For some reason, nitrates are at zero. What should the correct parameters be according to the tests?

Launched on June 14. I know it should mature. But these mucus are confusing me. No matter how you look at it. After a week, there’s no coating, everything is fine. I think diatoms. Or flagellates? It’s just that so much time has passed. And the nitrates are at zero. I think something is off here.

a large bag of sand plus two kilos from an active aquarium. I added the stones gradually. a total of 11 kilograms. I added the last red ones three days ago. I didn't understand the behavior. density 1.020. it's hot now - 28 degrees. according to the tests, ammonia is zero. nitrites seem to be zero, unclear. nitrates are zero. pH 8.2, KH 7-8. phosphates are zero. could this really be diatoms?

Make sure to raise the density!!!!! 1.024-25 is normal. By the way, this could be the reason for the prolonged maturation. However, to add salt, you need to be confident in the accuracy of the device you are using to measure the density.
