I have been interested in aquarium keeping for over 20 years, with experiences ranging from planted tanks to discus and cichlids. However, in 2012, I became captivated by the world of marine aquariums after seeing photos and videos. For six months, I studied the subject thoroughly, and in the spring of 2013, I set up a 100+40 sump system. I used live rocks as the foundation and, within half a year, successfully populated it with corals and fish. The fish population reached up to 8 specimens, and the corals were thriving. This experience fueled my desire for something even greater. In the spring of 2014, I decided to set up a 300-liter (120-40-65 cm) aquarium with a 140-liter sump. Due to financial constraints, I opted for a more economical approach, using dry reef rocks as the substrate. The setup process took nearly a year, during which time the tank was not left with bare rocks. Soft corals, LPS, and a few SPS fragments were introduced, but the results were not satisfactory. Finally, in May 2015, the tank reached its full potential. However, life circumstances changed, and in November, the aquarium had to be moved (with the help of Sergeyzp and Sherkhan). The 100+40 system was dismantled and is now awaiting a new owner-friend from the ATO region. The current state of the tank is as shown in the photos (apologies for the quality, as we are still learning). To
