Good day to everyone. I have also decided to create a topic about my adventure with 2 aquariums. Why an adventure - I am a beginner in marine aquarium keeping and starting with such volumes is probably not right, many will say... These 2 aquariums were inherited from my freshwater hobby... and I gave it up after I started visiting the marine section more and more often. I haven't created a dozen topics on the forum (what to buy and what to do) as such. The first aquarium is 1 month old (birthday) with a size of height (I know I've signed up for a lifetime of trouble) 1.05m, length 1.1m, width 0.62cm. There is no classic sump... there is a hanging one, which consists of 5 compartments with gravel, then the water goes to a small algae filter and to a small protein skimmer. The Deltec MCE 600 protein skimmer has not arrived yet. There are 4 pumps of 5000 l/h. Homemade (converted from spotlights) MH lamps 2 pcs of 150 watts and a bar with actinics (not yet installed) Launched but on RO and Tetra salt. 5% water changes are planned weekly.
