• That's what my sea is like

The beginning here went as expected, many questions were resolved at the moment of startup. Now it is a maturing marine aquarium with its own specifics and, one might say, nascent life. In this thread, I will reflect on the moments of the aquarium's maturation, the events that bring joy to any aquarist, and the sad facts. So, in short, how it began. I purchased a BOYU TL 550 128L marine aquarium, salt, and substrate. I took 100 liters of water from an established aquarium, mixed my own salt at a ratio of 34-36g per liter, blended it 50/50, and placed two Black Sea rocks as a base; later, 7 kg of L.R. (live rock) were placed on them. Additionally, I installed a (Chinese) circulation pump rated for 3000L/h. Plans include installing a Voyager 2 with a controller. As of today, the aquarium inhabitants are: - one Yellowtail Damselfish (Chrysiptera parasema), - three Trochus snails, and another one brought from the Red Sea, - a Boxing Shrimp, - a mother colony of Xenia, - a small Euphyllia, - Discosoma, - Rhodactis, - Zoanthids. A big thank you to everyone who helped me with the aquarium setup; I look forward to further cooperation. Yes, the total turnkey startup budget, including livestock, was 7851.
