Greetings to all! Many are transitioning from smaller to larger volumes, but in my case, both by circumstance and "inner convictions," I am more inclined towards the reverse option. The launch took place in early September 2011. The substrate is aragonite sand, but dry, with a portion of live rock from the previous aquarium. Approximately 7-8 kg, perhaps a bit more. Corals were placed within a day, and fish were introduced after 3 weeks (it was necessary to free up the 550th). I removed the 2*18W lights and installed two radiators with 3 discs*3 LEDs each (white-blue-royal). I did not seal the grids of the first compartment. In it, there is currently a small, coarse sponge, with live rock at the bottom. The second compartment is a protein skimmer, the third has rings at the bottom and live rock above. The fourth contains a pump and bio-balls. During the third week, the sand in the left part attempted to "burrow" a bit - I placed a Vortech 10 in counter-current and it all stopped. The water change regime is once a week, 15-18 liters. Video is available here: </param></param></embed> And a
