Is it possible to use a CO2 cylinder in a lying position?

Jonathan6173

Considering that it can be half full...

Joshua9340

What's the problem? You don't think that CO2 in the cylinder is liquid, do you?

Dennis

Exactly, liquid In general, I think it can't be done lying down, I will have to look for a place... There is only 1 kg of acid in this cylinder, so there are no problems. Once, at my request, they poured more acid for me. So I brought the cylinder home, connected it..., it heated up in the cabinet, the needle on the manometer suspiciously started to rise, and then it happened: the safety valve blew out and froze the wall, well, since then there have been no wallpapers on it. They peeled off.

Damn, I never bothered with tanks: neither oxygen nor carbon dioxide. That's because the gas is not liquefied, but compressed. Liquefied gas is also sold, but in different containers (a couple of thousand bucks).

Andrew9246

Stas, CO2 is filled into the cylinder by weight, for this purpose the weight of the empty container and the volume of gas in LITERS are indicated on the cylinder.

Jeanne

Damn, really! Oxygen is measured in kilograms, while CO2 is in liters. So it's liquefied. I'll go and lift the cylinder. Probably there were no issues because it's not filled to the top.

Wonderful aquas, dust-free in harmony with macrophytes...

Ryan2281

view for today (the photo is not of very good quality, I only had an iPhone at hand)

Jessica8898

very decent aquas...it's just a pity there are few photos... what kind of care do you provide?

Diana3118

Aquas is far from the city, the owner mainly takes care of it himself, only occasionally we test and consult. In general, nothing special is being done.

Brooke

What can I say...........you can't lose experience and knowledge!

Jeremy

I haven't seen the aquarium for over a year. Judging by what I saw today, no human hand has touched it. Almost the entire day was spent on weeding. What I liked and was surprised by is that the red bubble plant has produced offspring; I counted 13 of them.

Karen2578

Hello! The bushes are crazy! Such wild untamed beauty! Will there be a photo after the cleanup?

Michael5242

I would say very carefully everything after a year of "not touching"!

Hello Basically, the environment was close to a natural reef. I tried not to change it too much, thinned out and moved the rodactis, anemones, and discs from the SPS, otherwise, in another six months, they would have consumed them. The biggest change is that I added a composition of stones on the left. I'll take photos next time.

Christine

once again saw the aquarium it continued to live on its own..... the anemones and rodactis didn't waste any time about 60 bubble corals, they even made it into the sump
