It turned out quite nice. Did you consider raising the magnesium? It should ideally be kept at no less than 1350.

Is the Atman pump for feeding the skimmer? What is the thickness of the glass? Please provide the name of the coral in the 10th photo.
Kenneth2761
Atman blows on the sterilizer. The glass is 12 mm everywhere, the windshield is 15 mm. 10 photos - a fragment of the euphilic frog spawn.

exactly... miscalculated

So what is in the 10th photo...?

The aquarium is on the way to serious results. If, of course, the sump doesn't start disrupting the normal regime of the aquarium in 2-3 years. But if there is diligence and vigilance...

I didn't understand, please explain...

Direction-RIF. This is already visible now. Nitrate nitrogen, phosphorus, etc. will definitely accumulate over time in the sump as detritus settling in the equipment compartments. Even now, it is already noticeable on the bottom. Sooner or later, monitoring may show defects in some parameters of the gas chromatography. Excluding or at least minimizing this is your task. It can be solved simply, although it is labor-intensive. Visually confirm for yourself when it will be necessary to conduct a sump reboot. It is better if these are planned activities. I wish you success!

This is easily resolved during regular maintenance in the form of cleaning compartments and equipment. WHERE?!?!?! Please specify... Explain, I didn't get it. Explain... I've never done or heard of restarting the SAMPA!

I treat you with respect, but in my opinion, such obvious things as removing accumulated detritus are routine activities in any aquarium. And I'm sure Pavlik is aware of them. Why are you treating him like a student?
Robert5335
Ray, it's not as obvious as it may seem; some call this detritus MiracleMud - magical dirt and have been hoarding it for years, protecting it in every way, while I refer to dirt as trash that needs to be removed, and I hold the same opinion.
Nicholas5194
Miracle Mud is little like detritus. It resembles dirty fine sand more. Although I know one person who called an alga, which doesn't look like it at all, a chetomorph. Here is about Miracle Mud. It is also recommended to change it periodically, in parts. And there are many options for collecting detritus.
Shane
I agree. But miracle-mud and detritus are still different things.

Dear Anubis!
I have no doubt about Pavlik; moreover, I firmly believe that in the near future we will repeatedly see that he is on the right track, and since the questions he asked were relevant, the answers should also be relevant.
I think such discussions are genuinely beneficial for beginners. (By the way, I do not consider Pavel to be one of them).
In my opinion, questions about working with the sea should not lead to assumptions and grievances. Here, on the forum, it seems at least strange. It is better to discuss interesting questions than to reduce them to a "student" position.

By the way, the topic of Miracle Mud doesn't seem to have been raised on the forum, yet people have been using it. Maybe it should be brought up in a separate thread?
Melissa3200
It can be concluded, although not many people used it - there will be few opinions.
