A space and opportunity have emerged to create something of my own. The aquarium size is 2000x700x800, with a viewing window. A skimmer is present. The current lighting setup consists of 2x250W 2000K lamps and 1x250W 1400K lamp, all of Chinese manufacture, as well as 6 T5 Aquamedic Actinic+ and 2 JBL 9000K lamps. The circulation pump is a Grundfos, and a wavebox with a Hydor 7.8 is used for water flow. An additional Tunze pump will be installed. The sand substrate weighs 100kg. Only a part of the reef has been set up so far, with

Rodney

Handsome!!!

Marie5348

Hello! How are things going with the aquarium? What new additions have you made?

Jonathon8514

We are gradually settling in.

Thomas

The work of the person sitting at this table has gone down the drain!

Amber6362

Glad to see the updates. It will be more pleasant to visit you now. A worthy entrance design.

James5103

Yes, this is a workplace.

Amber

We are slowly moving forward..... We took all fresh water for the launch, so it is maturing a bit longer and with all the side effects. The skimmer is going crazy.

Kayla7655

I really like a cozy workspace, a dream.

Jonathon8514

The workspace is inadequate. It should be functional. In reality, he will spend 80 percent of the time looking at the aquarium. Although maybe his job is to look at the aquarium )- then yes. And regarding the aquarium itself - as they say, the shoemaker goes barefoot always ))

Kevin262

I really haven't seen my home much, but at least I'll get to see this one. I think this time, not so quickly, but there will be boots.

John3142

Sasha, I think you really understood the pretentiousness of the posts) I'll cross my fingers so that it truly becomes your workplace. You know, the shoemaker's children go barefoot - that's a familiar theme for me too. On the other hand, who said the task would be easy? )

Melissa

Chinese lamps! You couldn't have insulted me more!

Jose

At the launch stage, it doesn't make much sense to invest heavily in lamps, especially since this Chinese one shines quite well; let it burn for now, and we'll see later.

Matthew1280

There is a certain logic to this at the launch stage. China is indeed shining quite well, it's just a pity that it won't last long.

Shelby3182

The aquarium is 3 months old. The moment of maturity is already close, and it has almost cleared itself of growths.

Tasha

Yes, the time is not far off when this aquarium will take its rightful place among the best. There are all the prerequisites for this.

Stefanie9771

He looks much cooler in real life anyway.

William1830

To be honest, the photos turned out poorly; I can't quite get the hang of using the camera yet.

Matthew7977

I really want We have already incorporated all the latest developments, both ours and others', and this is not the limit; next in line is the installation of the calcium reactor and chiller. Recently, we installed a computer that controls all the lights, pumps, top-off, calcium reactor (pH), and measures TDS after osmosis; it will also manage the refrigeration unit. We can connect a doser to it as well—I plan to install it for feeding corals and adding trace elements. The product is made very well.

Holly

If it's not too much trouble, could you provide more details about the computer: model, price, etc.? Thank you in advance.

Chris

Seven feet under the keel!

Stuart

I haven't been given any money for testing yet, I'll find out the price tomorrow and let you know. If I buy the devices separately for all the functions it performs, it will amount to a ridiculously large sum, and they will take up a lot of space.

Bridget

In person, he definitely looks much better, but the photos turned out not too bad either.

Courtney

So, what's the price for the computer? Is there any information?

Lisa

Kharkiv, it costs 350 UAH. Contact Vadim, he makes good controllers for the sea.

Nicole7122

everything is correct, I brought it to the end. If you're interested, call...

Jonathon8514

No way. The Kharkiv controller is much better than Vadim. (Vadim, no offense)

Debra8438

The flight continues. A calcium reactor has been installed.

Laura3673

super!!! I really like it)

Tracy

Very beautiful! It looks even better in person!

Michael

Is the opening of "Lyustdorfskaya 92B" coming soon? )

Michelle1505

It is recommended to install a check valve between the carbon dioxide cylinder and the reactor.

Joshua

In this case, it can be managed, at least this cylinder has been working like this for about five years.

Patricia1746

It is moving slowly, but it is still unclear when it will finish. Today, another 650 liters were launched. We are always open for our own.

Andrew9581

Dmitry is right - it's better to install it. The balloon doesn't care. But when the gas runs out, seawater will flow into it through the electromagnetic valve and the regulator, and they won't be indifferent to that.

Rachael

I already checked, it doesn't reach. The thing is that it is above the reactor and the water doesn't reach.

Russell8484

I have no doubt that the aquarium will be great. It seems worth coming to Odessa to see it in person when it's ready.

Laurie3842

What is there to think about? Just come already, even if the aquarium doesn't work out - there is quite a decent fish selection at Privoz.

Caroline1599

Winter will be over for you soon, and I'll catch up. I'll bring you a couple or three acanthurus, as I'm just about to go to Australia for them. Then you can pay me back with fish from Privoz.

Kevin3579

There is also this feature... In reverse osmosis systems, one of the JGs has a check valve. As a rule, we do not install osmosis with a hydro-automatic and a storage tank, so this valve is not needed there... Sometimes we install it in another place.

Tami

Alex launched all living things into the neglected aquariums and left nothing for the clients before the New Year.))))

Katie5500

did not wait for the anemone Shrimp from "Privoz" 50 per kilo

Courtney

There are just no words!!! Very impressive!!! If you don't mind, could I see it in person somehow???

Melissa3200

Oh, how about the actinia? I can throw it in. Will a small entacmaea do? There’s some in Odessa, I don’t remember the address, but there are a lot of garages around.

Laura9093

Beauty!!!! Will you add more animals?

Mario

Hello! Can you tell me more about the circulation pump?

Chad9037

Why are you exposing me... I told them there isn't any, and they climbed into the sarcophagus. If we're being serious - I'm not sure if it's needed there, in the aquarium there are a lot of SPS (small-polyped corals) and LPS, I'm not sure if they'll like it.

Andrea9320

I have already added and will add more.

Rachael

You probably know about Grundfos. The thing is... I can't say anything good, and about the dead, it's either good or nothing.

Debra

About him, the native. Actually, after Kramer set the trend for Deltics, the occasional complaints that the pumps wouldn't restart simply drowned in praises... So what did he do to upset you?

Dana6523

the sleeping clown in the photo is just adorable)

Rita

Don't flatter him. That's just Sanya who squeezed the actinia for him.

Mark9853

I think he's doing well there too, at least the clown looks satisfied))) Honestly, I can't imagine what his expression would be like if he were unhappy. It's just a really unusual photo; he looks like he's lounging in a little bed.

Stefanie9771

The livestock is slowly growing, some of it not so slowly. A neighbor has appeared.

Jesse3979

neighbors, one more beautiful than the other...

Tracey

It seems like it's been six months for Akve, so here's a photo report on that...

Julie4738

Well then, happy birthday.

Lee425

On the occasion of almost reaching adulthood, I changed the lamps and installed 2 Radiums 20K + Reflux 12K.

Hunter1471

Sanya, to be honest, the photo is not great. Everything is kind of overexposed.

Stephanie9175

Yes, it looks much more fun in person.

Curtis

I know... I'm doing my best, but for now, this is all I can do. They give some kind of idea.

Angel628

presentation - all good. everything is going according to plan)

Crystal4879

The tridacna started reproducing, while the others were just gluttonous.

Todd8452

Hi! Awesome! Is she sitting alone in the aquarium or is there a neighbor? What is the current lighting mode of the system?

Wesley

There are three more neighbors, one of whom supported the event. T5 1 PM, MG 10

Wendy2244

Considering that there were a lot of larvae, there is some probability. The skimmer collected only part of them; many scattered into all the crevices. She smoked a lot and for a long time, about 10 times in half an hour. I don't know the exact mechanism of their reproduction, but I think it's important that there were several of them; it wasn't a coincidence that they started smoking together and smoked differently. The larger one expelled very small balls, while the smaller one produced something like slime.

Christopher4108

Was it their first time? I wonder if we will ever reach the point of cultivating giant clams in "home aquaculture" conditions... It's clear that there is too much interesting stuff, we can't spread ourselves too thin... But sometimes I really want to!

Nicole7268

I was at Lustdorf today... I liked the wave generator. It seems that corals like this. I saw the "mom" and "dad" of the giant clams. They are beautiful.

Aaron6112

I would love to take a "close-up" look at them. If possible. It seems to me that in the photo with "dad," the color reproduction is a bit off under the light of the actinics.

Selena4467

It's definitely better to see it live. The color reproduction is off - it simply doesn't exist. The situation can probably only be fixed with a different lens, but that's not in the cards right now... I added a few more corals and I'm trying to play the photographer.

David953

I haven't seen your aquarium in person, but I think it looks something like this: P.S. It's better to shoot in RAW and then open the files in Photoshop CS3. Give it a try - you'll be amazed at the difference. P.P.S. The overall view at this angle looks really bad. It should be at a 90-degree angle to the glass.

Amanda

not quite it sometimes similar, sometimes too much I opened it in CS3, but I didn't shoot in RAW, I'll try tomorrow

Nicole

If you set the white balance and exposure correctly, there's no need to open it in Photoshop. You should play around with the settings and it's better to shoot in M mode.

Darlene4238

to Helmon is crying for you))) to Stas Alpin Stas, what happened, the first photo got purpled

Cheryl

Yes, yes. No matter how much Helmon was initially interested in the "new mother" and the young "dad."

Danielle8118

OFF: because I have a T5 ATI Pro Color lamp (red). I have that color in the aquarium. I just judged by myself.

John3165

It might manage without him, I noticed that the glass pieces started to disappear, the woodermans are working...

Stefanie9771

I am going to install the procalor. There is not enough red in the spectrum for the refluxes and radiums.

James1625

This is what keeps me going.

Marie5348

another attempt to take a photo

Michael5242

It's a matter of taste, of course, although what if we emphasize the blue spectrum more? Maybe Hepatus wouldn't be lilac? ... But still, the aquarium is a dream!

Kevin3114

Slightly added some liveliness...

Hunter1471

Summer is just around the corner. I set up the refrigerator... according to the scheme, only the outdoor unit used is from a 9-kilowatt air conditioner, a Chinese one, but the compressor is Mitsubishi. The control is connected to the computer. Overall, it turned out to be very cost-effective, and in terms of performance, it's just a dream.

Cynthia

In the aquarium, the Aptasia has been gradually disappearing, and I couldn't understand the exact reason for a long time. Today, I saw the largest group of little worms eating it alive. They must have attacked it about two days ago, as it started to flee from them. I will try to take some seedlings from this guard.

Wendy8540

And the other sea anemones are not touched?

Tracey

the question is not studied... the main thing is that people are not disturbed

Daniel132

If other actinides and others turn out to be untouched, they are worthless.

Ricky9405

You study, and don't lose these worms, it can create such a boom in the fight against saiphtasia. Off-topic: And those people should not swim beyond the buoys and dive deep.

Jill9137

I'm curious myself. I caught the remains of the aiptasia and separated it. I also placed a stone with aiptasia in the aquarium as bait. After a couple of days, I took it out of the tank. It seemed to me that the aiptasia looked worse on it. I threw everything into one pile and added more aiptasia and a small bubble coral. After a couple of days, it turned out that there is at least one worm. I'm waiting to see what happens next.

Yolanda

Well, here we are.

Mark

I put the creature in the neighboring 700 liters. On the wall is its brief autobiography since the moment I brought it to me.

Nicole

What about the issue with aiptasia-eating worms?

Chad

Things are like this: they attacked the bubble coral. I understood the reason for the mysterious disappearance of similar ones in my tank, however, they might not touch the larger ones; the sand anemone has been living in my tank for a long time. There are still no glass shards in the aquarium...

Michael

This is just the case when, upon inspection, it pierces to the bone... the feeling of white envy... Well done. And well done to those who, besides the author, participated in creating the wonderful rhyme... Let’s hope that you have not yet "smoked the last cigarette"... Good luck! Sincerely,

Sarah5423

The aquarium is slowly growing... I had to remove one shark - it stopped opening up. The corals are starting to compete for space under the lamp.

Kathy

Great. I need to go take a look.

Cynthia

100%

Mark7376

Come in, you'll appreciate the changes. I messed with the neighbor.

Brandon9634

Powerful!!!

Gene1948

We try.

Michael

Beautiful winged one, have you already eaten the shrimp?

Jacob4800

Everything is in place, she is on a diet.

Karen1649

You didn't see those shrimp, it's a still shot when that winged creature was escaping from them.

Matthew

No, I did see the shrimp, just the regular ones, but there were no winged ones...

Breanna9982

She has been here for a long time, about three months... This is the kindest type of winged fish; if you get her used to the food, she doesn't pay much attention to the fish. During the day, she swims little and sits among the rocks, but in the morning and evening, she is more active.

Cassandra7840

So, she was hiding from them. I was a bit stunned when I saw those tetras in the presence of the dendrocharis. I did the same experiment at home with my own, and everything was fine. These winged ones are quite tolerant of shrimp.

Scott9892

In message 106, the first photo near the grapevine - is that Parazoanthus? And also - how does the proximity of Plerogyra and Euphyllia affect them? Are they still getting along?

Heather9815

distance 5mm, nothing bad is visible

Diana3118

Very beautiful aquas, butterfly fish, and tridacna!

Jacqueline6670

The can looks amazing!!!

Todd8452

Super luckiness - escaped from those wanting to eat, got into a spill, missed the bag, missed the skimmer, ended up in the weed bed and didn't die of hunger.

Susan9583

He betrayed his comrades along the way.

Kevin

Well, lucky him. In this compartment, he won't starve to death; rather, he'll get well-fed.

Erin

About a dozen spawns have disappeared without a trace... the last one was about a week ago. As I understand it, it has already grown.

Stephanie4990

it started to go well, there are already three of them

Destiny

It seems that Artemiy is being eaten away... so here's to replenishment!

Samuel6138

evening photos...

John3335

I look at your sea and my mouth waters... I went to check my little swamp and cried, my 120 liters wouldn't even be enough for a sample =)))) I need to go to the stores to buy all sorts of living things... otherwise, the Aiptasia and Valonia are driving me crazy... The sea is AMAZING!!!!

Susan9583

it's already day...

Jeffery7866

neighboring 700l

Heather6148

Both reefs look absolutely stunning in person; photos of this beauty in full scale certainly do not convey it.

Lindsey3628

I'm gradually getting the hang of taking photos.

John5528

Whoa!

Jessica5348

Yes, the cat is just what you need... you walk in, and he's right there: running everywhere, climbing everywhere, being curious. When he grows up, you can have Sanya help you with him in the store.

Heather9815

Sanya, you need to trim the claws of that Opaaa-Kuza and carry him around less. On Sunday, he dug his claws into my leg through my jeans so hard that I took them off at home to check and was just shocked. We have four cats in the house and five more in the yard—all peaceful. Trust a cat lover with experience—less carrying! I mean, he shouldn't be climbing on tables.

Ryan1989

Judging by the photo, this is not a cat, but a new cat-like invertebrate fish, so to speak, an exclusive from the depths of the sea.

Kathryn514

Well, then a couple more photos... I read and studied so much that I actually fell asleep... And what beauty...

Destiny

What is the background made of? Oracal, what color?

Jesse3979

where he should and shouldn't climb he seems to have his own idea recently he was found sleeping in the cupboard...

Raven7170

Recently, you dried it in front of us - it splashed into the aquarium.

Tara2761

oracle, I can't tell the number... really a "sea lion"...

Mark7376

Take care of the little cat, it is the talisman of your marine aquarium...

Ricky9405

Got to the camera...

Debra6575

after replacing the bulbs....

William5838

Have the T5 lamps been changed? New ones - marine fauna?

Julie3950

It's about time. Currently, there is MG-Radium 20K, BLV 14K, Radium 20K. T5 - Faunamarin Blue 2 pcs, Royal Blue 2 pcs.

Tonya

fresh photos...

Amanda5586

neighboring 700l

Caitlin3279

Oh, if only I could photograph this beauty in even higher resolution, because you can hardly see anything.

Alec9378

you can't upload more than 800x800, restrictions...

Nancy

But there is no topic for you on Aquafanat, you can upload a higher resolution there.

Angela6489

This summer I was in Odessa, and of course I couldn't miss visiting 92b Lustdorfskaya Street. The photos don't capture even half of the beauty of those aquariums; it's something you have to see in person. In a word, Bravo!

Daniel

I took another lens, a Sigma 30mm 1.4 portrait lens, and shot some close-ups...

Anthony4281

found a description of these animals

Heather

a few fresh photos

Jill9137

Beauty!!!

Lauren

The tridacna in the first photo is just colossal!

Julie

and it continues to grow and quite rapidly...

Beth3383

What kills me the most are the deer antlers growing downwards (photo 2.6).

Rachel9060

I came across your latest topic and was glad to see that there is a specialized aquarium store, rather than a mix of hamsters, rabbits, etc. There may be similar stores here, but yours was the first one I saw. Great aquariums... I would also create a freshwater aquarium or a natural one, for example, with Discus... I think that would be interesting for the store as well. Overall, it's awesome!!!

Ashley5975

the flight continues the corals are slowly growing and fighting...

Veronica

What do you feed the livestock? What minerals, additives, and supplements do you use for LPS (large-polyp stony corals)?

Matthew7977

I am currently in Odessa and plan to visit this place in the coming days. After my last visit to "Rif" last year, my aquarium has grown to a height of 70 cm. After this year's visit, it's hard to predict what will happen next with my sea, as there is much to see and strive for. P.S. Expect me as a guest.

Jessica8898

Come in We will be happy to meet you

Shawn

We mainly add three color enhancers for marine fauna, occasionally feed with plankton and artemia, and periodically use dry feeds.

Michael826

Is the price for the color additives in the link for each bottle individually or for the set?

Debra

What specific amino acids can you provide a link to?

John3165

if you need to feed and clean the aquarium these, if only to feed these

Lauren

three colors, can be taken separately usually we pour a third to half of the dose

Superb, beyond all praise.

Joe

Hi! The picture turned out beautiful! What lighting did you use for the shot?

Cindy

Hello All MG and T5 are on fire.

Deborah2682

a little more...

Holly

Happy upcoming NEW YEAR!!!

Amy5468

Very beautiful

Melinda

It's interesting how Acanthurus sohal behaves towards other surgeonfish. Such a stylish little fish!

Gregory

This particular one is very aggressive and will not tolerate any relatives or similarly sized fish. Previously, it showed its behavior... after which it ended up with us. There are more peaceful individuals, but the majority of this species are still quite aggressive.

Denise

Please tell me about the size and lighting of the algae tank, what kind of lamps are used and how many hours do they operate?

Caitlin3279

The duration of lighting needs to be selected for each system. We have it on for 6 hours.

Meghan

What criteria should be used to determine the duration? How well it grows or based on the chemical composition of the water?

Katie4842

on the coloration and growth of corals

Brooke

Wait, we were talking about the algal bloom. The duration of lighting is defined too indirectly.

Joseph9203

In the most direct way, the seaweed and zooxanthellae consume the same thing.
