I ask you to share both successful and not-so-successful experiences with goniopora in your aquariums. I recently acquired one and immediately fell in love with these animals. The goniopora is large, about the size of a fist, and has a hemispherical shape. It inflates to the size of a handball. So far, it seems to be doing well. I feed it frozen plankton very carefully, using a pipette to deliver it to each polyp every other day. Since the parameters are almost zero, I am not worried about feeding for now. I have started feeding the aquarium with phyto and zoo plankton. I invite you to join in.

I want to disappoint you. Goniopora and Alveopora were already present in the reefs of sailors on this forum for about five years before your arrival, as I remember. I got a second one, it's a pity that it was right before leaving for a week, but when I came back, I found it alive and healthy. The color is dark blue, and the polyps are shorter. A beauty. I'll take a photo tomorrow.

I kept these animals for two and a half years. The green-blue one, and the second small one is really cute, completely white, from the underwater caves of Ras Mohammed. The feeding is monotonous, crushed zooplankton. 2-3 times a week. The gross mass gain is 30% in 10 weeks.
