• Actinia, I need advice...

In general, it's simple - the anemone has divided... but today, the maternal part - the one that stayed in its burrow, lifted its skirt and I noticed a third one, already quite bleached. This is because it couldn't come out into the light due to the parent and was sitting all the time in the cave... the question is how to get it out of there or whether to leave it alone? Will it recover, and if not, does this pose a risk to the maternal anemone?

An interesting question. Where are the tips from experienced aquarists?

I did not find the third bleached actinia in the photo. It should be marked somehow. Or, if it is not visible in the photo at all, then at least the location. There are several options.

No need to take her out. Don't touch her, she will come out on her own. Everything will recover; this is a common occurrence during her division for me. There was a fatal outcome once, but that was one time out of about 15 divisions. Less worry and feeding with small doses of soft food. Well, how can you not see it?

It looks like a flash of light to me. If it's her, then everything is said correctly. She sits at a higher point than mom. Feed her a little bit. Sooner or later, sitting together will become boring, and someone will move away.

He waited and watched for a long time - it was clear that she was unwell. So he took radical measures - he cut the stone with a grinder and separated them - now the little one has grown and blossomed, and she is still there, while the older one has gone out for a walk - now she is waiting for a new owner...
