Hello everyone! I really need some advice. About 3 months ago, an anemone, seemingly a quadricolor, settled in my tank. It had previously lived for two years in another aquarium with one clownfish. I added another clownfish, and the anemone was living in a quarantine tank. Now, we temporarily installed a new, powerful lamp on the aquarium, and in the last week, the anemone split into 3!!! The "mother" and one "baby" have clearly become bubble tip anemones. So, my question is, do I need to take special care of the "babies," how often should I feed them? And how did a clear quadricolor become a bubble tip?!

Actually, the bubble tip anemone and the quadricolor are the same thing - Entacmaea quadricolor. Sometimes it doesn't inflate its bubbles. I didn't take care of the babies in any way and didn't feed them specifically until they grew up.

Oh, I apologize, I was mistaken about the appearance; originally this anemone lived as "magnifica" and now it turned out to be "quadricolor." Thanks for the advice, I won't touch them for now, maybe I'll try to offer them something during feeding. What could have caused such a rapid division? Is it the new light?

Division is often caused by two reasons - living too well or too poorly. Usually, when the light changes, corals become stressed.

All that has been said above also applies to the genus Heteractis.
