• Unwanted algae

  • Ashley

My respect to all aquarium enthusiasts! Please share from your experience or the experience of your acquaintances any marine creatures that can feed on the algae listed below (I'm fed up with weeding them out).

Christopher

Well, there are many views - but not a single response...sad!

Sandra

In the second photo, if this is a caulerpa, then there might be a zebrasoma; no one else will eat.

Melissa

And from the first photo, can someone eat that? It grows very large.

John

1 and 2 - caulerpa, zebrasoma eat it, read above. 3 - the same will disappear, caulerpa will survive. 4 - it is gently removed with a medical clamp, it does not grow in the same place anymore (do not scatter it around the aquarium).

Patrick

The emerald raculus sculptus eats everything from this, first the caulerpa, then the rest, but in my 200 liters it took time, while in a smaller volume it's just right.. It didn't harm.

Bohnenka, thank you for the information. Also, could you tell me where you got it or maybe you know where to buy this useful device?

Stephanie

MDA regularly offered them, it was around 160.
