Unfortunately, this is not it. My whisk has eight prongs and no little tips on the ends. I'll try to take a better photo.

Your link helped me find out what it is. I found that I have Acrossota amboinensis, now help me understand who eats this thing or how to get rid of it.

The link contains the answer to your question, haven't you read it? It clearly states food vinegar. I burned it out with a syringe and boiling water (I think it's safer than a syringe with vinegar), and two procedures were enough to get rid of it.
