Colleagues, who else is a happy owner of this coral? I bought it about a month ago. But I haven't seen it open even once! Acroporas, seriatoporas, montiporas, caulastreas, acanthastreas, and other SPS and LPS are growing and looking good. They open and puff up. I placed it in a calm to moderate flow and in subdued light. (Although, from 3 PM to 7 PM, the sun hits it well.) I made this conclusion about flow and light based on foreign websites. Again, they say it's a fairly adaptable coral that adjusts to any conditions... What flow do you keep it in? Under what light?

Error! Turbinaria needs a strong current to prevent the coral from being silted up!

Re-gluing is not a problem. But no settling at all! For the first day, he was a bit drippy. After that, no issues with sediment. At first, he was standing in turbulent flow, but then during another rearrangement, either I moved it or the glue came off - it fell off. So, I placed it in a calm spot. Maybe the main factor is light? Lenya, where is it located for you - on top or bottom?

It is currently positioned at the bottom in moderate flow, which it clearly lacks... it opens poorly... before it was in strong flow and opened excellently. It needs moderate light. PS Does it open up at night for you?

I have the same situation. We also bought it a month ago, and it doesn't open either. It seems to be in a strong current, but that's all relative. Maybe that's not enough. There is no silt buildup.

A small frag of Turbinaria accidentally came to me on live rock, it is always open, but over six months the growth has been very weak; it is placed under metal halide lighting on the middle level, and the current there is moderate.

Is there a photo of how a turbinar looks when it's open? I have it set up in a strong current, under a 250-watt lamp...

It opened up even during the day. The photo is a year and a half old. After I moved it to another spot, it won't open up like that anymore... even though it's still growing.

MG 150 W white, but through the cover glass, the height of the aquarium is 60 cm. The live rocks have been there since the start, so in the first few months it struggled, suffering from lower conditions, although it still mostly opened up, and now it's doing better. Initially, there was marble on the same rock. The discozoans are 3-4 cm away from it and seem not to interfere with its life.

I have 250 mg, it’s in 70-80 from the coral... I haven't seen it opened, but it's growing and it's bright 0_о.
