Hello! I have a question: is it true that camel shrimp eat aiptasia (glass anemone)? I have a lot of aiptasia, and I need someone to eat it... You can't keep a Helmon in a 100-liter tank, and it only lives in an aquarium for a maximum of a year. The forcipiger will initially eat feather worms, nibble on corals, and then might start on the anemones. So I don't know if it's worth getting camel shrimp; will they eat these "evil parasites"???

Camels don't touch iphtazis, they eat peppermints (depends on luck). Peppermint Camel R,S. Forcepiger, by the way, also doesn't touch iphtazis.

I have a Butterflyfish Chelmon rostratus that has been living for almost two years. I got it when it was the size of a five-kopeck coin, and now it is 8-9 cm in diameter. It eats all frozen foods, as well as live ones (it doesn't accept dry food at all). It loves aiptasia; yesterday I specifically brought some aiptasia-rich plants from the service, and within an hour, it tore everything apart and devoured it. As for the claim that it lives for a year in a reef, that's nonsense; they don't live long in pure oil (poisoned ones live as long as sick ones if not treated). Wow. What size tank does it live in? I have 100 liters and the nitrites are elevated. The Helmon won't survive. The Helmon will touch the corals.

I have a nitrite level of 0.1 with 3 fish. Sometimes it drops to 0.05. It's unclear why it's so high.

Everything bad that happens in your reef is your own fault; either you didn't notice and take action, or you knew but took the risk and lost. Therefore, you can't blame the coral for pinching another, or the fish for eating the shrimp, fish, or sponge.
