• Color change of corals.

The experiment on changing the coloration of finger coral (Sinularia polydactyla) was successful. The cream-colored coral developed a fluorescent greenish hue. However, I fear this may be a matter of chance, and we are still far from developing real methodologies. Dear colleagues, those who have encountered similar issues, please share your information.

I constantly encounter this phenomenon. I'm no longer surprised. The little ones of the same species change color when planted at different heights in the aquarium. I have six shades. I think it's all related to light. If you're interested, I can post a photo.

It is interesting to look at the photos. Certainly, at different heights, there is a different spectral composition of light, etc. I would like to trace the relationship between all these lux, lumens, kelvins, and the pigmentation of corals.
