An ozonator against crypto is like an analgesic against AIDS. An ozonator has its pros and cons, especially if you lack experience with it, as it can only worsen the situation. It is mainly used for further purification of water through disinfection and oxidation of organic matter, etc. I only use it when I clean the aquarium; it operates during the cleaning and for another 2-3 hours afterward.
