• Hepatus got sick.

I seek help from esteemed marine aquarium enthusiasts. Can you tell me what is wrong with my Hepatus? There is a sore on its dorsal fin. It eats and swims, but has become less active. Everything was fine in the morning, but now there is a problem. The aquarium has 600 liters of water in the system, it is 7 months old, and the parameters are normal. Calcium and magnesium fluctuate, but that is not so important in this case. All equipment is functioning properly, and I do water changes every 10 days at 10%. What could this be???? I would be very grateful.

In my opinion, they are beating him up. The tail fin is recently torn, and there are old tears as well; there may be an injury on the back, a puncture from a fight or fright about the live rocks (which are painful and can become inflamed). Eliminate the cause of the fighting (remove the aggressor), ensure maximum calm, dim the white light a bit, and turn on the UV. This is urgent and needs to be done immediately, and then we will see what happens next.

Thank you for the advice. His tail has been like that for a long time; I bought him that way. The only thing in the tank that can harm him is the winged insect, but it's smaller than him. In the tank, there are 3 clownfish, 2 large Apagons, a green Dastilicus agrius, and the winged insect that I can't get rid of; maybe someone needs it. He has faded a bit, but not too much; he eats but moves less actively... I will do a water change. The UV is working constantly, and new inhabitants were added 4 days ago. If you have more recommendations, feel free to write. Thank you in advance.
