Good day. Three weeks ago, the hedgehog lost some spines in one spot, three days ago it was noticeable that new small spines were growing in the bald area, and today I discovered a strange spot on it, with a white border around the edge. It's unclear if it's fluffy or not, and there is no blue stripe in that spot. It seems that this condition is eating away at the wound, and I can't take a proper photo of the sore. The hedgehog has been with me for 5 months. The parameters are Ca-420, Kh-8.0, pH-8.0, po4-0, NH-0.25, NO2-0, N03-4. The system is a year old, and I do water changes once a week. The only new addition is a mushroom. The only thing is that the Kh fluctuated a bit for a couple of days. I turned on the UV. What should I do? How should I treat it? Or is there no hope here?

How is your hedgehog doing?

The hedgehog doesn't seem to be dying; it decorates itself, eats, and walks around. I think it has some kind of burn, but from what? The white spot has remained just as it is, and it's definitely not fluffy, but crusty; the spines have grown back in that place.

Well, if she decorates herself, it means she's taking care of herself. I'm glad everything is fine, otherwise everyone is silent... and I'm a bit worried.

Thank you) I thought no one would be interested, so I wouldn't write about how things are with the hedgehog.

Hello everyone. The reason for the hedgehog's wound has been discovered. At that time, I was using calcium water, and apparently, a couple of particles didn't dissolve and got onto the hedgehog, which was sitting under the flute at that moment. The wound is no longer a wound but a scar; it's unknown if it will heal, but it hasn't spread further, and the little animal is as active as before, constantly crawling in disguise.
