In the aquarium, there are two euphyllias; one torch is doing well and even sharing, while the other has been closed for about two weeks and is not opening. Recently, nothing new has been added to the aquarium, and the equipment is the same as before. All the other corals are doing well. The reason for its behavior remains a mystery to me. Don't disturb her... the condition should normalize on its own, there are no visible signs of necrosis or damage... the coral just deflated for a while, mine does that occasionally too, but not for long.

What do you have with the parameters, have you conducted tests? How do you change the water? Are you using MЭ? Regarding the threads from the gastric cavity, it should be assumed that something or someone is clearly suppressing it. Perhaps there is not enough lighting. What if you try to move it to a more open space? I don't see anyone nearby who would be dangerous for it, but still... If that doesn't help, then something is wrong with the water. It's very difficult to determine the cause without seeing the aquarium, equipment, etc. in person.

Recently, I bought dry reef rocks (10 kg) at the Aquarium Center; 2 rocks weighing 1 kg each were placed in the aquarium. I didn't treat them, just rinsed them with seawater and put them in the aquarium. Could they have caused such a result?

You have a beautiful reef, but this euphyllia is in a not very convenient place for it, as it is being hindered there. I would place it in the saddle, under the overhangs. As for the two 1kg dry reef rocks installed in the row, that's not very good, although what else can be done if it's necessary... It's true that they could definitely have affected the water quality, so I wouldn't recommend adding more dry reef rocks for now. Let the organic matter provided by these 2kg of reef be processed. M.E. refers to microelements. The glass rose should also be suppressed, as it can affect sensitive invertebrates, but for now, there isn't much of it yet.
