• Aggressive Three-Spotted Dascyllus (Domino)

  • Monica

Good evening, I need some advice. We had 6 clownfish and 2 three-spot damselfish (Domino) in a 300-liter aquarium, along with some small fish. However, for almost a week now, the damselfish have started behaving extremely aggressively, chasing the clownfish and damaging their tails, so I separated the clownfish to help them regrow their tails. Does anyone know what might be causing this behavior and how to get rid of it?

I will try to sell it! Maybe someone needs to form a pack!

There were incidents where the shrimp pecked out eyes and tore off limbs.

These fish are compatible only with Clark's clownfish. I kept them with a pair of Clark's, and they all peacefully swam around the anemone without bothering each other, except the clownfish occasionally chased away the damselfish a bit. So in 80 liters, 2 Clark's + 2 Domino lived peacefully as a family.
