Last night, I walked past my aquarium and heard someone growling. I thought it was a glitch. I looked closer, and the angelfish was flaring its fins and growling "RRRRRRRRRR!" at its neighbors. It definitely doesn't sound like a dolphin's cry; it's more like some kind of growl. This is not a joke, and I was completely sober. What a sight! It's a shame I can't capture it; maybe it's temporary. If it happens again, I'll definitely record it and share it. In the photo is this creature.

Everything is as it should be. Mine growls just like that. When he meets P. Pair. The older he gets, the more often he will growl. He is the master there, in the aquarium... By the way, Pair also growls, but less often...

Fish are not as mute as many believe. Dactyls produce sounds similar to the clicking of stones. Pufferfish croak when they inflate. In freshwater, almost all catfish are capable of making sounds.

Wow, soon I'll be talking to fish.

I also heard the "growling" from the imperial angels, but at that time it seemed to me that I was imagining it, which means they can actually make sounds similar to growling...

Joseph

HA! Cool. At least it doesn't bite.

Actually, I would even call it not growling, but grumbling or loud purring... This, first of all, indicates the good condition of the fish. A sick amphiprion will not purr...

Linda

that's for sure!

I want to listen to the fish growling.

Thank God I caught this fish.

Nancy

What’s with "thank God"?
