Good day to everyone! I have finally decided to get into marine aquariums! I have read and watched a lot, but I still have many questions! The aquarium is planned to be 130-47-65 cm. So here are my questions: 1. Lighting - I found a topic about a DIY light fixture with metal halide and decided I can handle it myself. A question for the experienced: what wattage of metal halide is needed for this volume? I was planning on 2*250 W. I thought about making the reflectors myself like in the Lumenarc, I will attach a photo below. But where can I find polished aluminum for this purpose in Odessa? And regarding the electronic ballast, I couldn't find anything suitable in online stores (the price of 1600 for one ballast is too much!) where can I find it at a reasonable price? There will be many more questions, so thank you in advance!

I forgot to add that I want to combine MG with T5.

Forget about MG. It's outdated. Get a T5. If you want bunnies and poisonous flowers, add diodes. As for reflectors, you have a wonderful person in Odessa; he has plenty of that stuff...

Unfortunately, I am a complete zero when it comes to diodes, I can't say that I'm an expert in MG, I have some questions! I just don't want to use T5! I only understand diodes very poorly regarding spectrum, soldering, etc. (I can't do it myself, and ordering it is quite expensive!) So I ask for help with MG!!!!

I can help with diodes, based on products from China; everything is much simpler and cheaper than you think.
