The development was prompted by the premature demise of the Resun 1500 Wave Maker. Since it was not interesting to strip the circuit and repair it, I decided to design my own circuit and fit it into the case of the burnt device. The device is based on the ATtiny26 plus the necessary components. It is controlled by three potentiometers that adjust the amplitude of the generated wave, its duration, and the period between waves. The maximum duration of the wave and the period between waves is 10 seconds. The wave shape is a sinusoid offset on both axes. The pump is the original Resun. The circuit and firmware are attached. It should be noted that after some tweaking with the settings, I was able to achieve a quite effective "standing" wave in the aquarium with an amplitude of about 3 cm.

In the native controller, you can set the duration of operation for 3 different pump power levels. In your case: - duration - power (amplitude) - ? (period between waves) Am I understanding correctly? Also, I am interested in whether the controller will go into production and the cost, at least an approximate one.

Well, devices are awesome! The quality is top-notch, many renowned brands would envy the functionality, plus the tech support is great, and I won't even mention the price. I'm planning to order everything for the second round with the second jar, now we are waiting for the assortment to be replenished with the WaveMaker, and an amplifier for the pH meter wouldn't hurt either.

Have you guided potential clients regarding the price? An accuracy of 5 dollars, I think, will be more than sufficient. Right now, everyone is interested, but once you calculate the cost, it could become a decisive factor. Assuming we gather 50 "pieces," how much would it cost to order such a device from you? It definitely won't be exactly the same, as it is designed for a specific chassis. If it is to be done, it should be done for the standard MasterKit chassis. And it may be necessary to change the control scheme.

The main value is the software that is embedded. Not everyone can flash it, and not everyone has an LPT port.

If it's a Chinese charger, it won't last long in constant mode. However, there are no problems with 5-volt blocks. It won't work. Pumps are not designed for that.

not all, Voyager and Boyu work without problems, pumps that do not have axis fixation distally or rotor limitations also work, although there is a noticeable knock at startup, which theoretically minimizes their operational lifespan

Regarding the market, there is still Russia, where many are eager to replace the native controller. So we can also consider the control board for the native power supply. The controller from Boyu - But stopping the pumps is not the solution (few will dive in while it is standing); it is necessary for the power to change smoothly.
