Hello everyone! While modifications are great, I want something of my own. I finished a product, a foam generator for small samplings, up to 200 liters. It comes with a 15W pump (air consumption 300 liters/hour) and can also be equipped with a 9W pump (air consumption 100 liters/hour). Dimensions: 460x120x250.

I try to extract as much air as possible from the pump, but with such height, the skimmer will overflow into the cup, and a bubble will come out of the skimmer, then it is necessary to reduce the pump's performance, and in terms of parameters, this will bring it closer to ordinary small Chinese and non-Chinese skimmers.

Hello everyone! So here it is, the DMC-500PL skimmer for the aquarium. Thanks to Denis from Nikolaev for kindly providing the jar. I could have removed the partition and installed a normal, already tested skimmer, but I decided to leave everything as it is, and the idea came to install the pump on top of the reaction chamber, which increased the water path; the bubble at the outlet is present for a couple of days, then stabilizes and disappears. The main pipe is 90mm, the total height is 355mm, and the pump is Atman PH-500, with an air consumption of 150l/h.

The water level is a bit high; subtract the size of the skimmer cup by 90-100mm, and the entire body of the foam generator is underwater. The excess water and air pumped in have nowhere to go in the foam generator and will overflow into the cup. To create a load on the pump and allow for foam level adjustment, is it possible to lower the water level in the chamber to 300-350mm?
