• Tuning Jebo Protein Skimmer 520.

  • Angel628

Hello everyone! I continue to promote Chinese industry. I present another tuning (modification) of the Jebo 520 foam maker. The design of the foam maker itself is quite good, it disassembles easily for cleaning, the cup comes off simply, and the cone is on a bayonet connection, overall it's decent. As always, I installed the Atman PH-3500 pump, with an increased chamber plus a needle wheel, and the power under load is 45W. Air consumption is 1000 liters per hour. For the test, I put the foam maker in a quarantine tank and added a bit of water from frozen Artemia, so the foam photos were taken with foam stimulation. In the end, it turned out to be quite a budget option, cheap and effective. It's perfect for a tank up to 500 liters.

I have a similar Chinese skimmer, a WaiPro; I replaced the Chinese pump with a DELTEC, and it worked, the foam started to flow.

Thank you. I think it will fit in my 250 liters? It's quite an acceptable price to try a budget sea. I wanted to know more about: 1. Is this pen only in Samp? 2. How much does the Atman pump cost? 3. Where can I buy a needle wheel or how can I make one?

Johnny

For 250 liters, it will do. 1. A penny only in the sump. 2. The Atman PH-3500 pump costs 265, I'm buying it from Arovana. 3. The needle wheel is not sold, I have to make it myself; I don't remember where it was written how to do it, need to search.
