• Controller for Grundfos???

  • Bethany

Good day to everyone. Here's the thing... I think everyone is aware of Grundfos (Deltec) pumps. But how difficult is it to modify the controller of these Grundfos pumps to have modes like Vortech or to make a controller like the larger RD2? Has anyone thought in this direction?

Look here. The "MAGNA" line "We have integrated a frequency converter into the pump, which automatically adjusts the pump's rotational speed to the current needs of the system..."

Can you see photos of Grundfos pumps?

Isn't there any here?

The capabilities of the built-in controller are limited. With the standard device, you can adjust the pump's performance, which is certainly convenient when using it as a return pump... but when using it as a flow pump, broader capabilities are needed.

In my opinion, Deltek is very different!, and there is metal in contact with water in Grundfos.

The stock one, of course, doesn't help, but having a frequency converter gives some chance. The device is for electronics specialists; I'm out of my depth here. Yes, the casing is stainless steel; there's nothing to be done about that.

Go to ... there is a topic on how to make a Deltak from Grundfos.
