Good afternoon. Finally, after long contemplation, I built an improved skimmer model for small aquariums. So, I used an Atman pump rated at 5 watts, acrylic scraps, and a few other minor components. The main focus was on ease of maintenance and quality performance. Both objectives, in my opinion, have been achieved. The pump was equipped with a large rotor chamber, and the rotor features a toothed two-row impeller with horizontally arranged spikes. The skimmer cup moves vertically, allowing for the adjustment of the "dryness" of the foam. Maintenance is very simple, similar to the Deltec MCE-300: just remove the cup, wash it, and it's ready. The skimmate, it seems to me, is very rich, which is certainly pleasing... Next are photos that visually depict the device:
