• again the sea but in miniature

  • Natasha

Good day to everyone. Earlier, there were plans to launch a 110-liter marine aquarium, but due to certain events, this has become impossible. Since I currently live in a rented apartment, I would like to start with a mini aquarium, which is planned to be custom-made with dimensions of 30x40x35 (please advise whether to make it with a side sump or a bottom sump). As for lighting, I plan to use at least one beam, but I'm considering getting two. For the foam, there is a standard option, but if someone can modify it properly, that would be great. For salt or a pump, please advise; I’m not sure what to choose. I will get a density meter and a refractometer later. As for the heater, I will have soft corals, and then, as they say, we will see how it goes. I might start with live rocks (LR) and dry reef rocks (DRR), but most likely, I will live with purchased osmosis water until I set up my own. I’m waiting for advice and ideas.
