• The flow pump is blowing in the wrong direction.

I recently noticed that the pump is blowing "backwards." After turning it off and on, it blows correctly for a while, but then it starts blowing "backwards" again. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? The pump is a HYDOR KORALIA EVOLUTION 4000. Interestingly, the rotor in this pump "swelled" for no apparent reason, it was replaced, and for some time the pump worked normally. There is another HYDOR KORALIA EVOLUTION 4000 in the aquarium, and there have been no issues with it.

Post 17 is interesting.

For pumps, it sometimes helps to turn it on/off, and also to flip the plug, pull it out and turn it 180 degrees.

In our reality, with regular power outages, unfortunately, this is not a panacea... :/ An unpleasant experience made me dig into finding a solution to the issue...

Hydor recommends the following, verbatim: Check that the black starter rubber is in its place, in the front chamber of the pump.

Overall, I cleaned and reassembled it over the weekend, and it seems to be working fine for now, although I didn't find any issues with it. The problem is common and has been well discussed among our colleagues. In short, the bushing might be misaligned, but everything was fine on my end. Thank you all!
