Sorry to ask a question to the ice builders in your thread: why can't you hang blue and blue royal on one channel, and amber and red on a separate one? After all, blue and blue royal are essentially the same. I read somewhere that red stimulates algae growth, and if it works in conjunction with another spectrum, it will be problematic to regulate it.

Kwakwa, so where should we hang the amber?? On a separate channel? It's just as needed as the red, both will be 15-20% at best.

Kvakva, the proximity of Royal Blue and Blue actually depends on which bins by wavelength of radiation you are using. For Yulia, Royal Blue at 455 nm is a deep blue color (I have an even deeper bin from ileds at 440-445 nm, but Yulia categorically refused the one from Semileds), while Blue at 475-480 nm is a light blue, even with greenish notes. Therefore, since the controller has 6 channels, the choice of which colors to combine into one channel is clearly in favor of amber and red. Moreover, they will mainly be used at low power for color effects.
