Good afternoon, the question is actually about what to do. I have an aquarium that measures 150d-60h-45w (the front glass is convex, with a width of 55 in the center), and I want to increase the volume. I plan to change the side walls and replace the 45cm with either 100cm or 150cm; I haven't decided yet. This way, I will have an almost square aquarium. The main question is what to do with the bottom: should I replace it with a solid piece or add a missing piece to make it two parts?

You can add and place another piece on the joint. Read about "composite bottom" on the Internet. Stuffed with a Tapa on the Motor.

I read that it is used in rectangular (long) aquariums, but I couldn't find anything about square ones. As for gluing a piece over the seam, are you sure it won't affect the elasticity? Thank you.

James

Large volumes are glued together like this: several pieces at the bottom, and on top of them, a second layer in a "checkerboard" pattern. Elasticity and strength are increased due to the flexibility of this design. Stuffed with Tapcom on the Motor.
