• Ozonation. Problems with electrodes.

  • Kristen2246

Hello everyone! I have the following problem: I have a complete ozonation setup - just like in the textbook. Everything would be fine, but the electrodes are acting up - let's call it either acclimatization or sticking - it doesn't matter - but after a couple of months of operation, the following picture emerges - the readings hang just above 400 (410-430) - and the ozonator, accordingly, does not turn on (my controller is set to 370). When replacing the electrode, we see the numbers drop on the controller display. After cleaning the electrode (I haven't tried not cleaning it yet - but I need to try), it is used further. This problem has been noticed twice so far - on different electrodes. Before that, I thought the controller was malfunctioning. The controller is Aqua Medic. Has anyone encountered something similar? And how did you fix it?

Res electrodes are finicky. They need to be rinsed frequently and it's better to place them in a restoring solution for a day afterwards.

I also encountered this. - Where can I find a restorative solution for sale? The instructions mention a chemical formula... but chemistry is quite far from me. And I haven't come across it anywhere - what is the frequency of this procedure?

This is where to buy it, the question. Usually once a month for a day as a preventive measure.

Often, it is a strong solution of absolutely cheap potassium chloride. The purer, the better. I can look for the concentration (I did it a long time ago, as I mixed half a liter, and it doesn't spoil).

Takedau, I would be grateful.
