Drain into the sump

I found a picture of SAMP online. I was interested in how the drain is organized in SAMP. The photo is from here. What do you think about the drain? P.S. I have a desire to implement this idea myself. P.P.S. The bottom of the transparent tube is closed.

this way </param></param></embed> you can clearly see its assembly and launch there, the same as one sock, just with two you can just put a splitter above and remove this plastic cup - as I understood, it dampens the bubbles from the drain but why such a bicycle - I have no idea

I really liked the glass - it has a gentler flow of water.
