• Which pen to choose?

Dear marine aquarium enthusiasts, I am planning a 300-liter aquarium and want to buy a protein skimmer, but I am not sure which one to choose. The options are: Deltec MCE 600, Reef Octopus NW-200-6540 Protein Skimmer, Aquamedic Turboflotor Multi, or is there something better? My budget is around 200-250 USD.

Of these, the best is the Deltac 600. But it's better to add a bit (you have a sample, right?) and get a larger Deltac (I don't remember the number) or the A&C on the Medic 2500 (or the 150th or 200th).

I tried a lot, I would do the same... The truth is that the MCE 600 is just barely enough, without a margin; they were right - it needs to be a bit more powerful...

Deltec 600 is a good piece, but in six months I will either have to get a second one or switch to a more powerful model. From the pictures, I liked the Reef Octopus NW-200 more; it has a more powerful pump, also a needle wheel, and the reaction chamber is several times larger. Are there any real users of this skimmer here?

Will the Deltak 600 work in the sump, or does it need a special water level for a mounted version?

I was also reading about the Octopus Reef, it's nonsense. Then only the MSE600 remains.

I saw AlexLogo in action, it's a beast, the pump was a NewJet, the cost is around $400-450.

I have it set up - I'm satisfied... it pumps "oil", pulls 500 liters... the only downside is that it's a bit noisy, in my opinion... but I think it can be adjusted... I just haven't had the time to get to it...

There is a video on YouTube about this pen, but for some reason, it has a different design; maybe they sell a no-name Chinese version here? Can you send a photo of your pen?
