Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! I am slowly and steadily moving towards the idea of a marine aquarium. I set up a Tanganyika tank a year ago (and by the way, I don't regret it at all). However, I still feel drawn to the sea. Unfortunately, there isn't much space, and I can only fit something small, although I realistically understand that it would be nice to set up tanks of 700 liters (both for Tanganyika and for the sea). But for now, I'm happy with what I have. Nano aquaristics is developing at a crazy pace, allowing for the creation of small natural variations at home or at work. As I prepare to start a marine aquarium, I want to consult with more experienced friends. There are two manufacturers that seem to offer a complete system, so my question is: who has used them, what are your opinions, and most importantly, what works WITHOUT modifications, meaning you set it up as is and don't have to cut, seal, or throw anything away – or is that just a dream? In general, I am interested in any information you have accumulated. I understand that one of the main problems is filtration (how does a sump perform) and heat generation (light and all equipment in one place – how to deal with overheating). P.S. Yasha has a good pen. RiffMax is expensive, unjustifiably so. The ratio of Rezaun 500 and Boyu 400 in terms of light is the same. Considering your thoughts on size, Boyu would be a good option. P.S. I am biased - I write as the owner of Boyu 550.

As far as I understand, Yashi and Rifmax are almost the same price, just with different volumes. I read your thread - what do you think of Boyu after using it? What really needs to be redone? And can it be left as it is?

I didn't check the price of Yasha. It might be so. In that case, RiffMax is better. Off-topic It depends on what you expect from it and understand what needs to be done. Soft, LPS, and simple SPS have been there since the very beginning. I played with the setup of J.K. (live rocks) (high hill). For half a year, while I was redoing the lighting, everything was growing. It may not have grown as fast as the "tuned" SPS systems, but it grew quite well for the enjoyment of the sea. But we strayed from the topic - the exact name of my BOYU TL 550.

The prices of all these systems vary, from around 150 (Resan) to about 500 (Rifmax), I don't know about Yashu, I've only seen it on the logo in the photo. Almost all "boxed" systems need to be modified; you can "just take and install" them, but over time you'll have to redo them, at least the lighting. The foam blocks everywhere are complete garbage, so you'll have to replace them anyway. P.S. I even saw a Resan with a detachable Deltak-600, but the lid seems to be removable, not opening.

Yasha is the most normal, and there will be enough light there, and the pen is not far from there.

I'm thinking about it too, the price is really steep for such a volume... but in any case, it's not available yet... In the end, I'm still considering the option of gluing it together...
