Please advise how to contact craftsmen for marine aquarium equipment, specifically I need a trickle filter. Trickle filters are available for sale, but they are all small. It needs to be made of PVC plastic, and it should be 17 cm high, 80 cm long, and 20-25 cm wide. It is usually loaded with either live marine gravel taken directly from the shore (not dry!!! live!!! i.e., wet) with a fraction size of 5 to 10-15 mm, and then covered in the filter with a layer of about 5-6 cm. Or with wet!!! shells taken from the water, with the same layer. It is mounted on the back edge of the aquarium, on glass brackets, with glass thickness of 5 mm, evenly distributed.

In this section of the forum, you can find several skilled individuals: In my opinion, this filter is not the best option for water filtration in a marine aquarium.

I agree. A wet-dry filter in the sea is suitable either for purely fish tanks (where the high level of nitrates it produces is not very critical) or for holding and quarantine aquariums, whose task is to handle a one-time peak load of ammonia when receiving a large shipment of animals.

Do you know who could manufacture them? It would be better if it's someone who uses such filters of their own production.

I don't recall such filters from our club members; try reaching out to NOX (his nickname on the forum), he has the "right skills." ))))
