• Penny jebo 180 II Please advise.

Recently, a Jebo 180 II protein skimmer will arrive. I can't find any information about it. I'm getting it for free. It's brand new. It says that the pump needs to be of a specific type. Do I have to use a pump with that exact power, or can I use a less powerful one? Something like 300 or 500 liters? I have a 35-liter aquarium. Right now, I have a Pico Evolution pump rated for 1000 liters (turned down to the minimum). I'm just worried that the current will be too strong if I use a pump rated for 1100 liters in the skimmer... Thank you!

The pen is weak, produces a large bubble, is difficult to adjust because it has direct air injection. A more powerful pump is needed for it.

I have an Atman 203 pump on such a foam generator. The foam generator produces unsaturated foam. It is light lemonade in color. I'm not upset with it for that, just an extra water top-up in the aquarium, a la Balling...

I installed a tuned Atman 1100 l/h pump on such a pen, and it works fine only in a straight line, without a bend.

Well, I would have put them in too, and I think there would be more people if there were such pumps in circulation...

I don't know about the flow, but if you ask Vitaly, he will make the pump just right; I have personally confirmed that everything works perfectly.

Got it! So, just fine-tune it and the pump a bit, and it will be fine. I think my 34 liters will handle it.

I searched through everything I could find about this filter on foreign websites. It can be modified quite well! People are using it on 250-liter aquariums! And of course, the idea is also very good!
