I want to raise the topic of water flow in the aquarium. It is considered that alongside lighting, flow is one of the most important factors for the proper functioning of a marine aquarium. Everyone knows that the flow should be strong, but how strong? After several unsuccessful attempts to keep anemones (they successfully ended their lives in the flow pumps), I decided to reread the topic from a well-known aquarist who successfully keeps several of these animals. It turned out that in his 600-liter aquarium, there is only one Tunze stream pump, approximately 4600 liters per hour (in my opinion, just a large ordinary pump), and one "head" for 700 liters. Meanwhile, the aquarium is thriving! Therefore, the question is - how is the flow organized for those who keep these animals? I currently have a Resun Waver 15000 on my 400 liters, rated at 6000-15000 l/h, two SunSun JVP-102s at 5000 l/h, and one head at 700 l/h. The overall circulation is about 20,000-25,000 l/h. The aquarium mainly contains hard corals. P.S. I would also like feedback on the pumps being used, what works well and what does not.
