Good day! I'm planning to set up a small sump on my aquarium and have a question about the skimmer. I want to get the Atman SK200 with a power of 31 W and a flow rate of 1,500 l/h. (388 won't fit) to replace the pump with a 2,000 or 2,500 l/h pump and upgrade the rotor to a hairy or needle-like one. As an alternative, there's the Jebao 520, but I don't like it, and I need a powerful pump with a good modification for it to work properly, and the Reef Octopus NW-110-6520, which is more expensive and reportedly "doesn't work" according to reviews. I've read that the skimmer is not good, but my 120+30 sump should handle it. Currently, I have a Jebao 180-II hanging skimmer, which in theory, I can modify a bit to install the sump, but it's small with a "hairy" and doesn't have much output, but the "oil" is good. By the way, I haven't earned enough for Sasha's skimmer yet, and I haven't seen a small one there. I also wanted to ask about the pipes - 1/2 inch and a1,100 l/h pump for the return are okay for my aquarium, or do I need to increase something? The overflow will be a homemade hanging one or from a faucet (if I figure out PayPal and where and how to order, as I have
