It is better to place a layer of gravel at the bottom and then lay down the live rocks. You can skip adding anything; the live rocks have enough bacteria. We introduce the fish when the ammonia and nitrite levels drop to 0.

A good point about the acrylic glass - I was just thinking about how not to scratch the bottom ))))

I agree with points 1.2.3.4.5. I use Tetro salt and it's great, but regarding adding bacteria, I'm against it; they might slip in something useless, and you'll see for yourself when you submit them for analysis in the lab. If you have live rocks, there are enough bacteria there; it's better to take water from a good reef, about 50 liters, it will be much better for you, it's been tested. I would add sand right after installing the live rocks, let it start working too, and some algae wouldn't hurt; they would do a good job for your reef. After that, it's up to you to decide whether to keep them or not. Regarding nitrates, I will share my personal observations and advice.

The sequence of actions is quite logical. It's better to add sand right after laying the stones for better colonization. At the initial stage, there's no need to add bacteria. The system should stabilize on its own. After that, you can introduce some bacteria and feedings. What do you want to keep in the aquarium? Share your ideas. P.S. I do water changes once a week, about 60 liters. And you live in Kharkiv. I can share before the setup.

I have Koralia 2s since September last year. So far they are working... But they have a very fragile axis, so you need to handle them very carefully.
P.S. I think 2 Koralia 2s are a bit too little for 300 liters... As an option, you could add a regular pump like Maxi Jet with a rotating nozzle.

There are few corals. I have two corals, but the aquarium is 80 liters, it's a fish tank... A skimmer definitely won't cope - it's a rare nuisance... you can ask Bormaley, he had one for 400 liters and it couldn't handle the minimum load...

The filter is the heart of the aquarium... if it doesn't work, the aquarium will be like a swamp... well, it's up to you to decide... we can only recommend...

I can sell it if you like it. 1500 and it will bring you happiness.

No, no. Your idea with the sweater is good. Great light. And considering the fridge and the air conditioner in the room, there won't be any cooling problems.
