• Help with advice on nano sea.

  • Jennifer

Good day. I have long wanted to create a nano sea, but somehow I never had enough time. Now I have definitely decided that I want a nano sea, especially after seeing and reading articles from this site, so a big thank you to the author. The dimensions of the aquarium will be as follows: length 250mm, width 200mm, height 300mm, with a water volume of 15 liters. Please advise how much of each is needed: live rock, dry reef rock, coral rubble, or sand. The only living creatures will be live rocks. I understand that a larger aquarium is much more stable in terms of various parameters than a small one, but I still want to try to achieve success with your help in a small aquarium.

Therefore, if you are planning to do such a volume, you must definitely have a column in the center with an airlift filter. The substrate must be coral rubble! Only live

I would like to express my personal opinion.... Before creating a nano aquarium, one should start with a regular-sized tank, observe.... and then move on to smaller volumes.... I am by no means discouraging the author from their idea, but any nano aquarium tends to thrive better when there is a larger counterpart nearby.

I think more than 2 kg of live stones will not physically fit there. Crum

Crumbs - one or two centimeters - is your filter!!! Stones: I cut a square out of paper equal to my bottom, came to you and dug into the stones, laying out a column... It's impossible to say exactly how much is needed... I think I could fit a maximum of 1.5-2 kilograms into my aquarium.

What kind of light do stones need for life?

I have two 6-watt bulbs, two white LED bulbs, and two blue LED bulbs... I'll take a photo and post it.
