Hello everyone who knows about the sea. The anemones have multiplied, but they are all sitting on one rock. Please advise how to transplant them to another place without this rock, and of course, so that they all survive.

Which specific anemones

Jessica

probably Discoactinia :-)

Laura

here in detail

Yes, disk anemones. I followed the link, but it wasn't very convincing. My anemones don't want to move on their own; they are basically sitting on top of each other. And if I cut them, will the foot regenerate? Although, if we go by the Russians, then probably yes?

Lori

better not to touch anything at all. Let it live and reproduce.

Katie

Disco anemones, unlike other species, hardly crawl. It's really better not to touch them, as the outcome will be 50/50. I tried to transplant one carefully by cutting it with a piece of rock, and in the end, the anemone died.
