• Kn, calcium reactor, trace elements

Hello! The question is as follows! In the aquarium, there is a coral rubble (a thin layer of 1-1.5 cm). The water parameters are normal: everything is at zero, calcium is 420. Calcium is enriched by adding osmotic water with pre-dissolved and settled calcium hydroxide. I will start a calcium reactor soon. I have never measured KH, not even bought the test kit. I know what KH means. But why should I monitor it? What should it be within the normal range? How can it affect the condition in the aquarium? With the addition of the calcium reactor, will there be no need to add specifically calcified water due to evaporation (can I just add osmotic water)? And one more thing. There are coral supplements with the necessary microelements available for sale. I've heard that with the addition of a calcium reactor, you can do without them (as the coral rubble dissolving saturates the water with these microelements). Is this

In the supplements, there is also strontium, and for algae, there is also iodine. Regarding KN, take a look at this topic; it might satisfy you.
