Hello, marine aquarium enthusiasts! I bought a cube marine aquarium from Aquael with a standard light fixture for 2 bulbs, one white and one blue, and an Aquael backpack filter. It has live rock, corals, and a clownfish. There are some growths (algae) on the rocks and corals. I tried to clean the algae a bit with a toothbrush. Instead of the standard light fixture, I made an LED one with 5 blue and 4 white lights. Please advise me on how to bring the aquarium to a normal state. I plan to move everything to a 40-40-40 cm aquarium in a couple of days; I already have it ready and want to make a rear sump. Will this light fixture be enough for this volume? I also bought a device that looks like a skimmer. Is it necessary at all? Will it be suitable for this volume? How should I place and connect it? I don't understand anything about the sea; I'm a beginner.
