Hello everyone. I want to share an interesting observation. For several days in a row, I've noticed how the dogfish is nibbling on the favites. The coral is getting damaged from this, although not severely. What surprised me was the very fact of such behavior. The dog approaches and scrapes it just like it does with the algae on the glass. In my thoughts: 1) The coral is healthy, bright, and there are no algae growing on it or near it. 2) Is there a lack of food? There are algae on the pumps and on the back glass. I also provide artemia and pellets. 3) A lack of vitamins and trying to compensate for it... with coral? 4) Just playing around. Simply checking the coral... like the glass. And in doing so, it inadvertently causes damage. I will try to move the coral a bit and keep an eye on it. What do you think it could be related to?
