People, please advise. Will such an aquarium work for the sea? I have a 250-liter aquarium. The back wall is completely covered with various shells (about 30 kg). Freshwater has been in it for over 2 years. There are 3 ancistrus swimming. I wanted to make a cichlid tank, but I changed my mind. And also, can I make a sump 35x30 with any height? Or should I use an internal skimmer and an external filter? I also have an external filter with a UV sterilizer. Or should I use both the filter and the sump? In the sump, I could create an algae section and install a skimmer. I would appreciate your answers.

Shell rock or sandstone? Last year I was at Dzharylgach, and there are pieces of shell rock in the sea (from the nearby lighthouse). I can say that in shape they are almost like live stones... inside there are lots of bugs and worms... I wanted to take some, but I read on the internet that it's not allowed... (((((((((((( there are quite a few lying around! Now I really regret not taking any!!!!!!!!!! I could definitely give an answer now on whether it's worth it or not.......!!!

The question is relevant.

It's better to do things the right way rather than just piecing together what you have and hoping it will work. Understand that after some time, you will still return to how it should have been done from the start, so why waste time and money, and most importantly, your nerves?

I will add that the first reason for the reverse transition will be appearance.
