• I really need advice on the aquarium.

Good afternoon! I set up a 30-liter aquarium, filled it with osmosis water and salted it. After a day, I turned on the equipment (backpack filter, Resun SK 300 skimmer), and after another 3-4 days, I added substrate (gravel sand) and placed about 3-4 kg of live rock. At first, the water was clear and transparent, but after a few days, it became cloudy. I suspect it might be the light. What do you suggest I do next? Thank you.

You have disrupted the system you started; your aquarium is maturing, but it's turbulent. Why is that? The answer is simple: you started it, then added more, and then again, resulting in constant failures. Reduce the light, minimize your interference, and establish a steady flow and calm in the aquarium.

The blue one is currently on for 5 hours, is that enough?

Whitney

Yes, and don't bother him less, don't go there.

As the water evaporates, I add osmosis, right?

April3499

yes.

Beth3383

how long should it take for everything to return to normal

Thomas

77, sorry... from start to finish, each system has its own hour.

Eric

Alright, I'll ask differently: how can one understand when to move from observation to the next stages?

I will answer differently. Re-read the topics on the Forum. Buy a test for: - phosphate, - nitrate, - carbonate hardness, - calcium.

Thank you all for the responses!
