• New Oceanarium. Let's vote!!!

  • Michelle1662

Hello everyone! Dear forum members, in the near future, we plan to start the construction of a new oceanarium. This will be a completely innovative approach to architecture and design. We won't reveal too much yet, but we can say that the area will be around 33,000 m2. We propose to conduct a small poll to determine the city where this entertainment complex will be built. We offer several cities for consideration: 1. Odessa; 2. Mykolaiv; 3. Dnipro; 4. Zaporizhzhia; 5. Lviv. Your opinion is important to us.

Nicholas

Off-topic is so distracting. However, it makes sense to choose between Lviv and Odessa as resorts. It seems that few people are interested in Lviv (tourists)... so Odessa remains.

Kimberly4253

Well, why "isn't it possible"? We have the option to choose from 5 sites in five cities. We have our own subjective opinion on where to build the oceanarium complex. We are very curious to see how much it aligns with the opinion of one of the most active forums on aquatic themes.

Are you a developer, builder, or aquarist? It's no secret that some projects struggle to be profitable, the bowling alley in Ultramarine closed, and "Republic" was frozen... Should I continue? A developer definitely thinks with different criteria than you; such a question is not interesting to a builder at all. As for me, an aquarium should be built on the ocean shore, near some oceanic institute.

John3187

The thing is, we don't think in standards. "If there's an oceanarium, there must be an ocean nearby." In Kyiv, however, this did not prevent the construction of an oceanarium. We want people to love the ocean and its inhabitants just as much as our company's employees do. It will be a great place for relaxation, positive emotions, and learning.

Lauren

Ha! I have a longing.. a ticket to you will cost 250-500, in the first month you will exhaust the client base. Not that kind of country... Build a better hotel somewhere on the reef... for that kind of money. And take "orphans" there with discounts.

Melissa2062

I would prefer to build in Zaporizhzhia, ideally in Dnipro, but that's not realistic and unlikely. It is cheapest to build by the Black Sea for many reasons; it's more advantageous than in other cities, especially in Lviv. Odessa is definitely a good choice due to the influx of people during the resort season; it has the climate, the sea, and the environment needed for an aquarium. P.S. Just don't build it like the mobile one; that was shameful. They saved on specialists, hired people who didn't care about the sea, and paid them a pittance.

Daniel

What do you think about Lviv? We have more tourists from Europe, and there is nothing like it nearby. PLUS, there is Bukovel, which people travel to through Lviv!!!!!!

Julie3950

NO, I said an aquarium only in Zaporizhzhia, and preferably in the industrial area; we will raise the level and culture to bring it to the masses. Lviv is already beautiful without an aquarium, a cultural center of Europe.

A good topic for good people

Patricia

I am also in spirit for Zaporizhzhia, especially Kichkas, as Lesha suggested, let the tough Zaporizhzhia steelworkers be closer to nature... but logically for Odesa... yet rationally, for... it's not the right time now... although if the price is affordable for the people, and there is an opportunity - why not???

Matthew

Offtopic HEHEHE. Every Nemo praises his own actinia. As for the involvement, I disagree with the previous speaker... Zaporizhzhia is the main historical and cultural center, just the island of Khortytsia alone is worth a lot in historical terms... and Kichkas is generally the cultural center of Europe!!!

Colin1418

Off-topic. Why not in Ternopil? The marine aquaristics there is really poor, and it seems we don't have any sailors from that area. What does the local population even engage in?

Heather

You are quite the joker, my dear. But seriously, this is not serious.

Paul

I draw conclusions based on the following logic: • The target audience should be at least the entire country • Kyiv is not on the list • No one will travel exclusively for an aquarium to any city, so Mykolaiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia are out. • Odesa is visited for 3-4 months a year • Lviv is visited year-round If it were to be built, it would be in Lviv.

Larry9400

Bourgeois people generally do such things in large shopping centers or hotels (entry and exit are free). Otherwise, it is not profitable, as there are many costs for construction and maintenance. P.S. The overwhelming majority of people are not thinking about aquariums right now, as they have nothing to eat.

Amanda

Come on. There is no such structure in the country that is capable, let alone ready, to pull off this scam. The whole thing is pointless. Get lost!

Kathy

If you had waited a couple of days, you could have brought up such a topic on April 1st.

Wendy8540

Build in Lviv

Richard

Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro - all these cities have large rivers or the sea. However, there is little "wet" in Lviv. Therefore, it is necessary in Lviv.

Jessica6754

100% lions!!! And even better, Ivano-Frankivsk 😄

Jessica8898

You won't believe it, but going to the west for the aquarium is really inconvenient. It's better to go to Zaporizhzhia or, at the very least, to Dnipro. The entrance fee should be reasonable. Let's say I have two kids; if you charge 200-400 for entry, I clearly won't be able to afford the trip, and if I do manage it, it will be just once in a lifetime, and right now, that's the case for every family. You'll make a profit from each family just once.

Deborah2682

I think the pricing policy is the developer's side. If it costs a lot, they will have to use it themselves... The water park is already being built here...

Emily3144

Well, yes, it's already the second one...

Devon107

I don't understand why he is even here. It will be a pathetic semblance.

Robert1845

Only in Dnipro! Lviv's prices are aimed at foreign tourists (Poland, Germany, etc.), so the pricing policy of the oceanarium will be high for most people. In Kyiv, Odesa, and other places, there is enough of everything. But Dnipro is the center, a water park is being built, prices are reasonable, only advantages.

Charles4157

Well, you guys are something... And where is this topic author, unknown person from nowhere, who registered, posted without checking the calendar, while people are like little kids, at least someone could have thought that an aquarium is exactly what the country is lacking right now...))) (And what's characteristic, there is indeed something to build on)

Stephanie3084

Fantastic))) I have been a thousand times both in Lviv and in Dnipro. The pricing policy is the same in everything. "Every sandpiper praises its own swamp."

Leslie

So where did the oligarch go...? The people are worried, the line at the oceanarium is already getting anxious...

Darrell7542

My two cents... This is all, of course, not serious. If we are to build, then it should be in Kyiv. Someone wrote that there is an oceanarium in Kyiv - that is not true. There is only a pathetic imitation... Alas...

Todd8452

If one couldn't get it right, then the second one is beyond Kyiv's capabilities, so you're out of luck. The topic itself isn't serious; it seems to have been created just to let off steam and daydream.

Thank you all for your comments. Your opinion was important to us.
