Please advise on the LEDs.

Good day. I am currently preparing a light fixture for the sea, 90 cm long, 60 cm wide, and 50 cm high, using 6x39 watt T5 lamps. However, there are spots in the reflectors for installing eight LEDs in a star configuration. The question is, which LEDs are better to use?

I conducted an experiment with T5 and LED, and it was a complete failure. In the LED, there were white, blue, and royal colors; I added T5 actinic, purple, and others with a blue spectrum, but visually, NOTHING changed. Moreover, the temperature near the T5 is not low, which is not good for the LED.
